M&C SAATCHI: CENSUS 2021
I worked at M&C Saatchi for 3 months to lead the execution of the Census 2021 campaign on social media with their client the Office of National Statistics. We increased the Census completion rate from 70% to 94%.
HOW DID WE DO THIS?
I was tasked with producing content to help people overcome the barriers they face surrounding the Census. In order to deliver the content to such tight deadlines, I built a master content calendar, ideated and briefed assets in 77 different languages to internal and external creative teams. I then worked with them to produce fun, community-driven content.
For example, I ran a paid campaign with a competition to nominate someone in their community for a Purple Plaque. This generated over 6k entries due to strategic targeting at our segmented audiences. This contributed to an overall Census completion rate of 97%.
